Week 5

This week, we will begin reading about risk and its role in developing a reflective professional life.

Read: Part 4: R is for Risk- pages 151-172

Reflect: Post your response to the prompt below by Monday morning.

Consider one or two standards that challenge you every year. Think of standards where, no matter what you try, students seem to struggle to demonstrate learning. Name each standard.

Find a colleague with whom you can have a quick discussion about a different strategy to try the next time you teach the standards. 

If you don’t have a classroom, choose a difficult situation to discuss and brainstorm with a colleague instead.
